Top 5 Wednesday: Most Recent Additions to Your Wishlist

t5w

Hello everyone!

Top 5 Wednesday is a weekly meme that was originally created by Lainey from GingerReadsLainey and is currently being hosted by Sam from Thoughts on Tomes. To find out more information about this fun feature and how you can join in, please visit the Goodreads group for it here!

Before I begin this T5W post, I’d just like to apologize for the lack of reviews this week! There probably won’t be an actual review until the end of BookTube-A-Thon because I’m trying to spend as much time as I can this week reading, so I don’t really have any time to do a full-on review of any books! Nonetheless, by the end of the week I should be posting a review of The Raven King by Maggie Stiefvater and mini-reviews of the books that I read during BookTube-A-Thon!

Anyways, today’s T5W is the most recent additions to your wishlist. I’m always looking for more books to read and I have an entire shelf on Goodreads dedicated to books that I have yet to own, but want to eventually look into getting. So, without further ado, here are the most recent additions that I’ve added to my wishlist! (I’m only going to be including books that have already been released because if I didn’t do that, this would probably be a list full of unreleased books!)

5. The Bane Chronicles by Cassandra Clare

I’m kind of desperate to get my hands on a copy of this book. Magnus is one of my favorite characters from the Shadowhunter world, so I would absolutely love to read more stories about him. I have read many reviews saying some of these stories are rather boring. But nonetheless, I think this would be a great read!

4. Salt to the Sea by Ruta Sepetys

I have heard nothing but amazing things about this book. I honestly have no clue what it’s about, but from all of the rave reviews that I’ve seen for it, I’m sure it’s a great book. I like going into certain books without knowing much about the plot, so I’m hoping to read this soon to see what all the hype is about.

3. Aristotle and Dante Discover the Secrets of the Universe by Benjamin Alire Sáenz

I’ve heard so much about this book! So many people that have similar book tastes to mine are absolutely in love with this book, so I know that I’ll probably love this book as well. I’m hoping to buy this soon!

2. An Ember in the Ashes by Sabaa Tahir

This is another book where I honestly have no idea what it’s about, but I’ve seen numerous rave reviews for. I know that the sequel to this book is coming out soon, so I’m hoping to get this book soon so I can be ready for the release of the next book.

1. Shadow and Bone by Leigh Bardugo

I’ve been so interested in reading a book by Leigh Bardugo, so I definitely want to start with the Grisha trilogy. I really want to read Six of Crows as well, but I want to read this trilogy first so I can get a better understanding of the world that it’s set in.

So, those are the top 5 most recent additions to my wish list that I’ve been desperate to get my hands on! What books have you been recently wanting to add to your collection? Let me know in the comments below!

  1. Hope you like Aristotle and Dante and An Ember in the Ashes! I loved the latter, but the former had a few flaws (to me) so I didn’t love it as much as others have. I’ve only been hearing great things about it though so I’m definitely the black sheep. 😛
